Ecology
We want our projects to work together with the species that exist in the local surroundings, and we are adding new elements so that more species can find a habitat. The place we are building on will have a higher potential of biodiversity when the project is completed. High diversity of species provides well-functioning ecosystems and builds an exciting and varied living environment.
When we choose to build in an area, we always look at the natural values that are nearby and in the landscape. What can we do to strengthen these and are there ecological niches we can add? Humans have evolved in a context along with the species that exist around us. We depend on them to meet our needs and through human activity, species in our vicinity can meet their needs. Man becomes complete when we are allowed to be part of an ecosystem, part of the intricate web of dependence that exists between species. Through industrialization, agriculture, forestry, hunting and fishing, many habitats andion species have disappeared. Over the years, our societies have developed, and the standard of living has been raised, but this has also meant that many species have fallen sharply in number or become extinct.
We want to create a new way of building where we work with plants and animals that are in the area. We see these as an asset that enriches our ecovillages and provides a better and more pleasant living environment.
Our houses are designed primarily for families with children and firs-time buyers with normal finances. The eco-villages are built with an environmental focus and are located near larger cities.
